About

Join us for a very important education class for parents and non-parents alike.

CPR, or Cardiopulmonary resuscitation is used on anybody who has stopped breathing or whose heart has stopped beating. Choking, drowning, or other unforeseen events can cause this emergency situation. Knowing what to do in an instant can save a life. This class will cover infant/pediatric/adult CPR, choking rescue and use of an AED, focusing extensively on prevention, child development and home safety. Hands-on training includes use of baby-size mannequins to demonstrate how to perform every aspect of CPR and choking response.

CPR CERTIFICATION is offered for those who have completed the class. The certification is offered through ASHI, American Safety and Health Institute and the certification card, good for 2 years, can be emailed to you post workshop. Our instructor Dana Lazarovitch Thompson is a perinatal registered nurse, Certified CPR training instructor and a local mom. Easy to follow take home class materials are included.
